HUSK

Croatian University Centre for Air Traffic Control Training (HUSK) is an organisation for the training of air traffic controllers. HUSK is subject to the requirements for air traffic controller training organisations defined by Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/340 of 20 February 2015 laying down technical requirements and administrative procedures relating to air traffic controllers’ licences and certificates, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 216/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council. HUSK is a separate organisational unit within the Department of Aeronautics at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences and conducts the following types of training within the scope and privileges defined in the organisation’s approval certificate (HR.ATCOTO.01):
Basic training as part of initial air traffic controller training for three different plans and programmes (courses):
1.1. Basic ATCO Training Plan and Programme — Undergraduate Study
1.2. Basic ATCO Training Plan and Programme — Conversion
1.3. Basic ATCO Training Plan and Programme — Training Course
Synthetic Training Device Instructor Training Course (STDI) — training of instructors for practical training on a training device.
The persons involved in the organisation and delivery of training at HUSK are: responsible personnel and instructors, assessors, and other staff. The organisational structure of HUSK is shown in the following diagram.

Quality and Safety Manager – QSM,menadžer kvalitete i sigurnosti

Instructors involved in training are theoretical training instructors (teachers) and practical training instructors. The number and list of all instructors participating in theoretical and practical training are specified in the HUSK Organisation Management Manual.
